All throughout college, I heard about how you want a resume that stands out from the rest, and I thought, "Hey! If it's designed really well and isn't just a simple Word Doc with text like all the rest, maybe that's a good way to capture the employer's attention!" I spiced mine up, and found that other people wanted theirs spiced up too, so I began designing resumes.
There's just something about having a resume you're proud of that boosts your confidence when applying for jobs and heading into interviews.
